FULL
TIME PLACEMENT
The Hartshorn Group places full time employees in businesses
throughout northern New Jersey. We serve businesses of all
sizes. Typical of the job opportunities that we fill are office
support positions, from the receptionist to the executive
assistant to the CEO, as well as accountants, bookkeepers,
attorneys, legal secretaries, and paralegals.
Employers seeking to fill open positions with talented professionals
often are limited to newspaper and other advertising to solicit
interested job seekers. They then must sort through hundreds
of resumes and conduct countless interviews in the hope that
the perfect candidate meeting their job requirements has responded
to their advertisement. The Hartshorn Group streamlines this
costly and time-consuming process by identifying and evaluating
candidates for the employer through its networking and direct
recruiting efforts. This saves the employer time and money
by focusing their search on qualified candidates whose abilities
and accomplishments often place them apart from their peers.
TEMPORARY
PLACEMENT
Temporary employees are available for short or long-term assignments
at your business. The benefits of utilizing temporary employees
are many. It allows employers to quickly increase the number
of employees available to meet peak demands for their products
and services, staff special projects, and support growth.
It also allows employers to meet transient needs caused by
the illness, vacation, or other loss of key employees without
undertaking the full financial commitment that comes with
hiring a full time replacement employee.
TEMPORARY
TO FULL TIME PLACEMENT
Risk is inevitable when making a hiring decision on a new
employee. A polished and impressive resume does not always
mean superior job performance. And even the best interviewers
may not ask all the right questions. One means of managing
this latent risk is to hire the employee on a “temporary
to full time” basis. When employers hire a “temporary
to full time” employee, they give themselves the benefit
of a trial period in which the new employee's technical and
people skills can be evaluated under actual job conditions.
At the end of the temporary period, the employer can proceed
to bring the employee on board as a full time employee with
greater confidence because the employee has proven his or
herself.
ACCOUNTING
AND LEGAL RECRUITMENT
The Hartshorn Group recruits the best accounting and legal
professionals through extensive networking efforts in the
corporate and legal communities. The positions for which we
recruit cover the full range of accounting professionals,
from Chief Financial Officers to entry-level accountants.
We recruit attorneys at all levels of experience and in all
areas of legal expertise. We also recruit experienced, partner-level
legal secretaries and paraprofessionals.
HOW TO WORK
WITH US
Candidates who wish to be considered for job opportunities
for which we are recruiting are encouraged to register on-line
with us at the Registration page of our web site and e-mail
a current resume to us.
To work with us, employers need only call us at 973-884-1010
and ask to speak with one of our account executives. The account
executive will take a detailed job description from you, identify
the professional and academic qualifications you desire in
a candidate, and schedule an on-site visit. Once the job description
and ideal candidate have been described to us, we will use
our network to find and prescreen qualified candidates and
schedule interviews with your firm.
All of our fees are paid for by employers. In the case of
full time placements, no fee is due until the employer makes
a job offer that is accepted by the candidate.
CONFIDENTIALITY
An employer's decision to hire from outside the company, and
an employee's decision to leave one employer and seek another
position, can be both difficult and highly personal. At The
Hartshorn Group we strive to protect the confidentiality of
employers and candidates at all stages of the search.
